SER is an international software manufacturer for enterprise content management. The company has been operating one of its three offices in Austria at Plus City in Pasching near Linz since 1998. SER occupies a total of 330 square meters on the 5th floor of the shopping center. The aim of the renovation was to create open office structures and thus greater transparency in order to offer employees a future-oriented working environment. At the same time, the visual and acoustic quality was to be significantly improved.
Color, materials, and atmosphere played an important role in the development of the design concept—as did the incorporation of SER's corporate identity, which was implemented through the selection of colors for the walls, ceiling, and floor, among other things.
The heart of the design is the working café, which is separated from the hallway by an open kitchen block and can therefore be served from both sides. Nothing stands in the way of a coffee to go.
