The headquarters of HYPO Oberösterreich in Linz has demonstrated courage: it has broken with old patterns and broken new ground together with us. The result is a holistic spatial concept that, with its coordinated colors, high-quality materials, and hybrid working methods, serves as a model for future branches.

Where there used to be a maze of narrow corridors and small offices, there is now a spacious, open-plan area covering 900 square meters with 51 flexible workstations and a variety of
work areas.

In the past, you would often hear people asking, "Can you show me the way?" – because you never knew what was waiting around the next corner.
The structure was fragmented and convoluted, making encounters and transparency virtually impossible. Instead of openness, there was a feeling of isolation.

After numerous walls and ceilings were torn down, a new spatial clarity emerged – developed in close consultation with the employees. No more fixed desks, but instead a multitude of possibilities that make it easier to enter the new world of work.

Today, there are focus rooms, a creative room, a lounge, and a spacious working café. Even the executive offices can be used flexibly.

The new openness is particularly noticeable in the working café and kitchen. The increased ceiling height, natural materials, and warm colors create an atmosphere that is more reminiscent of a hotel than a traditional office.

Today, the branch offers both: the familiarity of the usual workplace and the freedom to try new things. Every day brings the opportunity to choose exactly the environment that best suits the task at hand.
